Taken from Bombay Rajdhani (July 1995) -
=================================
Our predictions on the Shatabdi encounter were fairly accurate as the 14-coach train showed up with twin WDMs. This was a unique event - one high-speed double-headed train crossing another. Have fun counting the coaches, after all, we are talking about a relative speed of 240 kmph!

  • wow awesome...how funny that in 1 video rajdhani was using generator of shatabdi & here shatabdi is using generator of rajdhani :P i think mismatches has been a hereditary thing in IR :D

  • @Scrapandjunk Good observation - it's as if they swapped gen cars :-) Mismatches were very rare in the 70s and 80s!

  • @TheRonak19 Very true :-)

  • @TheRonak19 alas v might see no more of it .....possible only if electricity somehow vanishes out of existence...

  • @vb642 ya indeed

  • lesser d compartments more speed........

  • ok.

  • @subhasis1989 Thanks! BRC-ADI was very much electrified in 1995. The reason for the Shatabdi using twin-diesels was because the WCAM1 could not go beyond 110 kmph!
