Not better. Different. Karate has also evolved. And sometimes evolution isn't better. One isn't BETTER than the other.

@daimyosama Jeet Kune Do does exist. So I don't know what you're talking about there.
Maybe it's similar to Wuwei Taoism, but I can't say much there, since I haven't really researched that. And you are right about it being a philosophy; however, that's true about all styles of martial arts. Without philosophy, it's just working out and learning flashy moves. But it's a style, nonetheless. It's all about learning to be formless and adaptive.

@darken27 this is the wuwei concept of taoism and not jeet kune do. jeet kune do don't even exist. how could exist a style that is not a style? it is just philosophy. you must learn before you have to forget.

@1337Chucks
**Martial arts for the win.
Taekwondo is great; but to be a true martial artist, one must not restrict himself to a single style. One must pursue his or her own technique, which is personal and unique; a technique which must be developed through compilation of effective styles, suited to the individual. This requires training and knowing multiple styles, and spans the course of one's life, and spiritual journey.
