  • I blame Mr Knighley for my unrealistically high expectations of men!

  • "if I loved you less i might be able to speak about it more" has got to be on par with the "allow me to tell you how adently i admire and love you " line in my books :')

  • I LOVE the scene with them saying the love each other; but they went with the book on the scenery. I think what they should have done is what they did with 96 Emma; Start with them being in the garden then walk to a tree; for the reveal. I KNOW; the were walking period in the 96 version. I'm just saying in the 96 version the tree in the background; was SOO romantic!! The Panout was EVEN MORE romantic!!

  • I dont care what u say about her hairstyle; I like it!! I agree about Harriets it is weird looking!!

  • I swear my bones turn to jelly when he porposes to her xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • must be awkward to hide behind a bush...

  • @FrostedPingu I agree...its all Jane Austen's fault :)

  • @FrostedPingu How I look at it is; the Austen men: Mr. Darcy; Captain Wentworth; Mr. Knightly; Mr. Bertram; and so on. Are what a man SHOULD be; don't see it as high expectations; that what a man should be. WE shouldn't have to lower our standards; society lowered men's standards!!

  • I love what they did with this version. In the Gwyneth Paltrow version, Emma was much more of an adult. Here we get to see her as a woman who is still very enthusiastic and younger acting, so exuberant and happy.

Also, there need to be more Mr. Knightlys in the world.

  • i LOVE 6:20 AND if i loved you less i might be able to talk about more - AMAZING

  • these dang type of books are the reason so many men fall short!!!!

  • @Katharos703 Yes, the extra scenes are on the DVD. Some scenes were cut out of the American production that was shown on PBS's Masterpiece.
