The Drori concept, which I first heard about from Joe Morello, as conveyed to him by a student with the name of Drori (hence the exercise name). A great jazz drumming independence exercise. Enjoy.

  • well played .... question .... you do these swing 8ths , then 8th note triplets , then quarter note triplets ??? 

  • @sweetfly66 Hey there! Yes, you play the hand/foot combos as swing eighths, than eighth note triplets and then as quarter note triplets,,,all against the jazz ride and hihat on 2 and 4...make sense? ML
