  • Friends, this wash wasn't to show off. It was done in a hotel bathroom after going through some expedition in a desert. As mentioned earlier, those fine sands was so nasty that neither blowing, dusting nor vacuuming works. Washing them was the only option. The lens is a 50-200mm.

  • Thank you if you like this video.

But for the rests who think this was an abuse, I'm sorry to say,you are wrong.

The camera went thru stormy desert with very fine grain of sand covering all corners. It was so bad that not even blowing or vacumming works. So the only way was to give it a shower.

  • So come on. Did it actually WORK after all that water 'abuse'???

  • Thanks and yes, it's still working till today.

  • dont be silly. These cameras were built to survive this. If my camera was built to survive being dropped from a plane, then I would expect it to do so. However being dropped out of the plane and being put under a shower are two very different things. Its not like he took the thing scuba diving...

  • This is serious constrution, build like a...submarine!!!! I´ve done some shots recently with this camera just to give it a try, and i was seriously impress with the quality of the results. The colors were stunnig, and camera that can handle many types of photographic situations and deliver superior results in a wide range of settings. In my opinion, still today the E-1 out performs many others cameras with higher resolution, in terms of performance, image quality, colors, constrution. Regards
