Well, if that's true, then perhaps I'm laying the blame in the wrong place. But if it's "Video Games Live" then it should be game music, and if they had permission to play FF songs, why not, say, Traverse Town or the Jungle music, or boss music, etc. If they really couldn't get permission, then why spend all that effort on an ordinary Disney medley?

It wasn't really their fault, Square Enix didn't allow images from the game to be used. When they play Final Fantasy songs they can't use any images either. They only show Disney films because Disney allowed them to be used.

They really made a bad call using only Disney films for the clips and just one song from the game. =/
