The Bass control adds thickness without affecting other frequencies while the Tone control takes care of the high end definition. A separate footswitchable boost based on the Church of Tone 50 adds gain and upper mids to the front end of the overdrive, ideal for lead boosts and harmonically charged chords. I love this pedal, and it's a fantastic value. I run it into a mid-boost pedal, and I can get any tone I want with a combo of the two pedals, pickups, and guitar volume.

After 25 years of playing guitar, and trying countless gear, Lovepedal has definitely found it's place in my rig, and has been a tonal inspiration.
