i'm staying up late tonight!!! woohoo! you guys keep commenting...and the chaps will keep coming! yay! (:

recap: she's overhearing nick's phone convo....

n: joe she really opened up to me. I get what shes saying and I get what youre saying........shell talk you soon. Im working on it. When she does, you need to open up to her too. It needs to go both sides.........dude, cmon, don't cry.........I know. I know........no, she doesnt hate you..........look mann, shes your daughter. And she always will be. She loves you........stop worrying..........joe cmon, please. Don't cry.
I placed my hand on his shoulder.
n: Natalie.
me: I wanna talk to him.
He smiled and handed me the phone.
me: dad?
n: *leaves*
j: na-natalie?
he stammered, I know he was bawling.
me: dad, Im sorry.

I started bawling and he started consoling me. telling me it was all his fault. I said it was mine. We went back and forth forever.
me: dad, heres the thing.
I started telling him about how I felt, how I knew he felt and how I wanted him to react. He slowly took it all in.
j: I understand what youre saying sweety. Come home. Well talk about it together. Ok?
me: ok. And dad?
j: yes?
me: I don't hate you. And youre a great dad. And I really love you.
I swear I felt him smile.
j: come home fast honey.
me: ok. Bye dad.
I hung up. I told uncle nick everything and I started making my way back home. I got in and went to my dads room. He was laying on his bed listening to his iPod. I laid down next to him and removed one of his ear buds.

me: watcha listening to?
j: *giggles*demi.
me: *laughs*
Soon, we started talking and really opening up to one another. This was great. I loved my dad. And I loved talking to my dad.
j: so bottom line, Im ok with Ronny and I do trust you. Im just having a really hard time admitting that youre growing up.
me: what you say means everything to me. if you tell me that I cant be with him, sure Id be mad, but Id honestly break up with him just because you told me to. I respect you dad. And I want you to be happy for me.
j: I am sweety. I am.
me: so, can I date him?
j: *sighs* yes. But you know can talk to me about anything when you need to.
me: I know. And Im so glad youre cool with this.
j: rules. There are rules.
me: I know. I know. I have curfew. No late night stuff. No sneaking around. No skipping classes. And I need to inform you of my whereabouts. Don't worry, Ive got everything under control.
j: *smiles* Im so glad I have a mature young lady for a daughter.

We both laughed. Then our phone rang.
j: hello?
??: help! Me!
j: nick?
n: 2 teenage girls in one house is not human! Im a guy and Im suffocating!
j: now you know how I feel.
n: SOS! SOS!
j: urm, natalie, your uncle nick needs your assistance.
me: *eyes widen* oh no! Sam and Kam have gone wild! I gotta go dad! Ill spend the night there! See you tomorrow! Bye!

I kissed his cheek and dashed to uncle nicks house. I really hope they don't murder him.
