After watching this, my conclusion is: thank God I own a MM6.

@couvepodre My cheap video camera does this synth no justice.  I have spent a lot of time on the MM6 (as I've demoed this keyboard many times for local music stores). Sorry.., but when you put both of these keyboards side by side, it's no comparison. The Di's sounds are far superior to the MM6. The MM6 is based on the ORIGINAL Yamaha Motif. The Di is based on the Fantom G series. The DI's synth, brass, pianos, EP's, organs, Guitars, Pads, ect are much better. Again.., my vid camera sucks!

@shinnaraku2 That's how it's supposed to be.  The Juno-Di's patch list is based on the Fantom-G. The patches aren't up to par with the sonic quality of the G.., but pretty darn close.

how you got sustain on piano, are you using pedal?

@squeakD Well, Yamaha motif is the best, fanbois aside. Yamaha have inhouse knowledge on world-class acoustic instruments, not so Roland or the others. The motif is much more often a choice among pros than the, what's the name again, the.... Fantom, The motif is much more common on stages and in studios. Fantoms are mostly found in bed rooms, even though they are good. Watch the motif demos. Yamaha is bigger, because they're better, other than in pure synths, but are good there too.

Nice demo man. Most of the demos on Youtube are made by people who simply can't play. You can play, so now I can determine how good the instrument really is. Sounds a lot like the phantom but in a much more inexpensive package -- easy to use with lots of 'goodie' features. Can't beat the price either. I'll be buying.
