  • @shadowswordsensei I would like to learn Bushido, can you recommend a school in Perth, WA?

  • @beyondtheblackstump

I do not know of any sword schools in Perth sorry. I am the only foreigner to be given official permission to teach this specific style outside of Japan. Good luck in your search

  • Never got a goof view of the sword Sensei, is that really a G-series sword??

  • @beyondtheblackstump

Yes it is. Pretty good for the price I must say. I really am looking forward to testing the very expensive ones if this is any indication of quality.

    regards

  • The inscription on the wooden scabbard (Saya) reads as Samurai Damashii, which translates as: Samurai spirit.

The inscription on the blade translates as: Now, as in ancient times, with the right spirit/right mind/right attitude the Gods will bless you.

The handle (tsuka) was on the large size and therefore very different to what I have been using in Japan. For the price, a surprisingly good sword I thought. A good starting place to gain knowledge and experience with a live blade.
