MOZART Adagio from Clarinet Concerto
MOZART Violin Concerto No. 5 "Turkish"
MOZART Symphony No. 29
Rejoice, Mozart lovers and dance aficionados! Members of the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company join us for "Concerto 622," choreographed by Lar Lubovitch for two male dancers and set to the Adagio of Mozarts Clarinet Concerto proof positive of Mozarts love for the clarinet. Pinchas Zukerman solos in Mozarts last violin concerto, where backs of cello and double bass bows striking the strings suggest a "Turkish" sound all the rage in 18th century Austria. Pinchas Zukerman and Eric Friesen host this wonderfully interactive performance from the stage.
