  • @ VocalTrinity I love your comments, especially these you make: "There are lots and tons of better belters out there, if you think belting is everything." "And, saying that 'whistling' is not singing is definitely wrong. 'Whistling' is a SINGING technique, which exercises the 7th octave. While belting is also a singing technique which is in the 5th octave, and sometimes, the 6th octave."

You point out, that belting and "whistling" are each singing techniques, with different ranges.

  • @AlexandrovichHans Thanks, for bringing out this information.

Basically, you say that, you can sing notes going from as low as an F#1--which is in the Bass range--all the way up to a G#7-G8, which is close to the female highest "whistle"-pitch voice? WOW!!! Then, your entire range must be at least 6 octaves, if not more. Amazing!!! The belting and head voices are good, too.

You should post some videos of yourself, showing what you can do. Those would be interesting to watch.

  • @Administrator688 Highest i've ever gone which i don't do since i can only do it twice a day, is a G8, normally i just sing to a G#7 because it doesn't require as much pressure. I can go as low as an F#1 so My classification is a Bass (cept i can go lower than average) I can belt only up to an A4 on lucky days normally just a G4. after that comes falsetto and head voice in which with head voice i can go up to an F6. I don't tend to go to high except when i belt.

  • @AlexandrovichHans So, your definition of "whistle" notes is this: "Technically, 'whistle' notes are when a singer has enough control and talent to be able to squeeze their vocal chords without damaging them. They do this by letting the air just pass through and by mixing it in the the nasal passages."

How interesting it is, that you have this ability to sing in such a range, as a male singer. What is your complete vocal range altogether, and, how far up to what note does it go?

  • Her voice is outstanding, whether people like her personally or not, you can not deny this Woman can sing!!!! :)

  • @draneoj10 technically whistle notes are when a singer has enough control and talent to be able to squeeze their vocal chords without damaging them. They do this by letting the air just pass through and by mixing it in the the nasal passages. People say it hurts but it doesn't, I can hit whistle notes and I'm a guy, they don't hurt and all it takes is a lot of skill to do it yet it takes tons of practice to get it to a decent stage. from what i've read, i just need to close the chords more.
