Ambulance mis-using it's emergency lights?

Driving south into Calexico, CA, on Highway 111, an ambulance sped along with lights flashing. Everyone pulled over. As the ambulance got into Calexico, it's lights turned off, and it cruised the rest of the way in. The drivers appeared to be carrying on a conversation.

We get cancelled all the time while responding to calls as sometimes a unit that is closer becomes available. Mind your own business

You just keep your eye's on the road or you will be late for your stamp collecting meeting. Where are you from? 1987. Like everyone say's, you get a shout, you start running towards it, another vehicle becomes free that is closer, so you get a cancellation. See, the UK Ambulance services work just the same as our U.S brothers and sisters. COME ON YOU MEDICS!

wow, I sure hope that no one you know ever gets injured and needs an ambulance.. calls are canceled mid route. I used to be a vol fire fighter and sometimes we would haul ass and then get called down...

Imagine that, someone who knows nothing about how the Public Safety system works running their mouth! It seems as if we can't do anything right until its you and or your family sick, injuries, or dying then we are the best thing since sliced bread!!
