Here it is folks the splendid Gos 3.0 on Acer Aspire One. I added a gig of ram (PC4200 - 533mhz). I much prefer this to the Linpus Lite.
I have done some tweaks for linux (type ssd tweaks for linux into Google). That has made boot time much faster. Will post another video showing that soon.

im unfamiliar with installing drivers on linux os. how do you install madwifi on the acer. i got it downloaded but there are just tons of weird files in it.

could you please tell me how to install gos on my acer aspire one? I have an external HDD, gos disk image, gos cd. i cud get my external disk writer from a friend......

You will need the external Dvd writer you cannot do it with a HDD without doing some major tweaks. Once gOS has loaded up you will see the installation icon on the desktop.

yeah used my dvd writer to install win 7. i heard about wireless issues with the aspire one and gos... you had any issues?

Yeah there are issues for all netbooks/laptops when installing Ubuntu 8.04 which gOS is based on..I eventually got it working with Madwifi drivers..
