Continuing with this logic, then North Korea must be a true democracy since the official title for that country is the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea.

It was just a name, like how we say we have a democracy when we really have a republic. the Nazi movement gained momentum in the 30's using that title, but it was a Totalitarian government, run thru the military by one man with 90% of the budget for the army. Nothing Socialist about Nazism. It was much more Right wing.
