These guys really need to come back to the US. Especially their home state of Wisconsin. I've always wanted to see them, but I've never gotten the opportunity.
YBB KILLED the Temple Bar in Santa Monica way back around 2000. I never forgot how surprised I was at how funky these guys were. I bought their album Center.Level.Roar and it continues to find it's way into my musical rotation to this day. Their sound continues to be fresh like a glass of rum and coke in the occassional desert of musical mundaneness.
I couldn't have said it better myself. I had the same experience with these guys, also in 2000. Bought both albums they had at the time, and they "continue to find their way into my musical rotation to this day. Their sound continues to be fresh like a glass of rum and coke in the occassional desert of musical mundaneness." Cheers ;)
