I was talking about this in work the other day. The one thing we all agreed on is that this was SCARY AS FUCK! I never get scared at horror films (much for the same reason i don't like magic tricks) because im always thinking of how they did it or its just an effect. OK it might be because i was 13 or 14 yrs old, but that's old enough to know whats real and fake!?. It was the sheer REALITY of it i think? Best british programe for 20 odd yrs!!

I was 12 years old when this aired and it still scares the crap out of me. Even now if someone says the word "pipes" I freak. They wouldn't allow this kind of thing now but they really should.

I know this is fake (well before I watched it) and I have seen as many horror films as you can think of... but this FREAKED ME OUT! I can't put my finger on it, don't know why but I'm partly wondering if it's the black dress thing. I think it conjurs up images of the old woman in Insidious for me, the fact that he wore it thinking there was an old woman possessing him- anyone else thing that's a really creepy part of it?
