Occupy FIU arrested at the Duxieme Maison pit. Lieutenant Torres gave the order to begin arrests after Phil used the people's microphone.

PS: why are so many of you focusing on this miranda rights issue? As soon as I was told by the police officer that miranda rights only need to be read before questioning, I stopped bringing it up.

I go to FIU. I'm so embarrassed that these kids were actually protesting. They think because they've done a few years of college they deserve the world. That's not how it works. Stop protesting about how shitty your life is and do something about it. Telling people you are angry at the system is stupid. @ally09x all humans are hypocritical by necessity, life is rife with contradictions. Students have held many events without police showing up in numbers to intimidate and oppress.

No one pushed any cameras into police officers faces.

Police officers pushed their faces into our cameras. They never stated any rules or regulations we were breaking that would justify our removal from the area.

"because we say so" is not reasonable, the students should decide, not administration.
