Two women forced to deal with the ugly specter of domestic violence find support in one another in this made-for-television drama, inspired by a true story. Beth (Donna Mills) has spent years in a violent relationship with her husband Tim (Corbin Bernsen), who batters her on a regular basis. One day, Beth reaches the end of her rope, packing up her daughter and leaving her husband behind. Tim, however, isn't about to let Beth go, and begins following her every move. In order to put an end to his stalking, Beth enters a shelter for abused women, where she meets Kaye (Robin Givens), a fellow beaten spouse. Beth and Kaye become fast friends, and they decide to find a house together. However, Kaye unfortunately also has a husband who refuses to leave her be, and when her former spouse violently attacks her, it's up to Beth to see that justice is done.

  • I rememebr when me & my mum had to go to a safe house, It was daunting. no matter where we went he would find us, but that was the one place we could go & I'd feel safe, I woke in the night sceaming & crying.

Finally after all the years past she found a good man & I'm happy for her. She is finally safe. Not all are so fortunate some end up dead, kids to.

PEOPLE - Get out of it, before its to late! not only for your own, but for the kids sake. It is the hardest thing to do, there is help!

  • Poor Robin Givens, had this in real life with Mike Tyson. Glad she's not with him any more, that was a long time ago.

  • she'll be OK, she doesn't need his money...she could get a job and take care of her daughter and that goes to all the women out there in situations like this...it doesn't necessaryhave to be domestic abuse!

  • @joannaholley There is help, you just have to educate yourself and find it.But you should pray for him to stop and get the help he needs as well.good luck and God bless.

  • I'm so sad and scared I'm living this life now for six years of abuse there is no escape there is no help

  • @GEhotpants101 No you'd have to prove it. They can't arrest someone on suspicion just b/c you have a restraining order. Those things are useless.

  • @skylur44 he let the guy in in the first place, and what if hubby beat the older man to get through the door?

  • @shawnielee1976 That's so fucked up. :\ I'm glad you caught him.

  • @GEhotpants101 You would EXPECT that would be the case, but not always! I had a restraining no/contact order against my husband and he still kept coming around to pop the tires to my vehicles, throw glass beer bottles into my house windows etc. But because I couldn't PROVE he was the one who did it and they didn't catch him in the act..they didn't arrest him. I went and bought some security video monitors at Radio Shack and that immediately caught his ass and then he went to jail!

  • She's still wearing her wedding rings...those would have been the FIRST thing I pawned after he closed my bank accounts and took my car! Been there...done that!

  • @foxyx200

  • i had a dad who was the same 'm 47 now but when i was 17 i told my dad if he goes on i will kill him so he stopped,
