Maestro Wu Damascus A-5 10" Chef Knife Shave tutorial since people are going to try shaving with big knives anyway...
Hand sharpened knife on Shapton Glass stones 2K, 3K, 6K (gray), 10K, 16K, 30K and finished on Ken Schwartz's .125u CBN. Olivia's Rolling Stone Shave cream and after shave lotion.

  • Thanks for watching! This was a rather big knife, and I was a bit nervous when I realized that I might actually hit something with it!!! - I was much more comfortable with the D-4 cleaver.

  • This should be a mandatory video to watch for all pro-sharpeners!

  • @shellacscales - only if they're going to try to shave with their knives. FWIW, hair whittling won't be a comfortable shave - it needs to pop the hairs. :-)
