Well, where is the water source from?? I believe the water source comes from you because you add that too the machine. If you add hardfloor liquid/chemical then that will be use. Still, there is one exception, if the machine are made for liquid usage then there is a chance it was spray out alot of liquid on the floor, which is not good for hardwood floor that does not use alot of hardwood's floor liquid/chemical. Sometime too much is not good.
