i may be a westerner but i love this music, i appreciate the fact that someone can show a glimpse of her power ,the power i was introduced to long ago..i respect other people that have open minds and feel with the heart.god tries communicate in various ways and means.i rejected my cultures religion long ago i got so sick of the close minded insanity and the oppression by fear that the church was and is still built on.i am thankful that ma kali freed me from it and will always love her

If representation is grotesque then it will lead the devotees to grotesque kinds of thoughts. Shiva-and-Kali consciousness is the agent of destrcution who destroy evil, they themselves are not evil. But I can see many Hindu devotees still don't know this. Shiva is not shown to be so grotesque then why should the feminine energy be shown like this? That's mostly men's gender discrimination being projected onto divinities.

@ViceJam indeed...many of the plural names for God in the bible had originated earlier in hinduism.

@ritubahar What is "grotesque" about this representation, may I ask? Cant you see Godess Kali or the female power can only kill the evil monsters. If there is anything which is "grotesque" then it is the evil! Not the Godess kali.
