@damnedcarrot Good soloists, no matter the instrument, use that as a device during peaks and climaxes during their solos, so they usually naturally fall where people cheer and get hyped. Doesn't really make sense to cheer during the ENTIRE solo.

I was in a cover band in New Jersey back in the 90's in a club called The Playpen an Dave Larue was the house Band on Sunday nites.The band was called The New Dogs an I had the pleasure 2 open an watching this guy play every Sunday Nite.He would absolutely Blow ur mind with what he can do.Little knowledge:If you've seen the Skid Row Video 18 an life towards the end of the song (Live shots) Baz screams an is wearing an "Im a Dog" Shirt That was Daves Coverband The New Dogs.

Why do crowds always cheer when they hear 3 notes played fast repeatedly. Always in solos, all this amazing stuff. The crowd does nothing, the soloist at some point repeats a few notes in repetition, LOUD CHEERING. ah, the stupidity of humans, how i hate them.

I have the same bass, but mine is Black Sapphire, and I have 2 humbuckers. Best bass I ever had.
