(Comments from the Video Poster): Love this lil project, Dorinda has stepped out of her box on this one! With only 6 tracks, this is truly an ALL INSPIRATIONAL album. Love the fact that Dorinda is open minded and is trying to reach the masses. No Churchy tunes on this project sorry! So if you want to hear the Churchy Dorinda, then this is not the project, but the message is still there! The messages in the songs are so awesome. Easy listening, loved listening to it while at the Gym..lol.
It's also nice to finally see J. Cole (Dorinda's Son) step out and join his royal family in continuing the musical legacy within the Moss/Clark dynasty. I say go purchase this release, Although it may not be in stores, I know you could physically purchase a CD during Dorinda's Singers & Musicians Conference, but hey, MP3 will serve me and thousands just fine!!


WHAT IS AN 'EP' ALBUM?..... Answer: The EP, or Extended Play, has been around for quite a while, although it seems to have been making a resurgence in recent years. Heres some more information about it.

EPs tend to have 10 to 30 minutes of material and consist of roughly five or six songs. This is kind of the middle ground between a demo and a full-length album.

EPs can be used in a variety of situations. Perhaps its the first official release that youre promoting to your audience to generate a buzz and introduce your sound. You may not have enough material to fill a full-length album yet.

Another idea is to release several EPs in a short period of time to create a steady stream of musical output. I personally think this idea is really gaining traction in recent years. Another great use for an EP is a bonus release that follows a full-length album or accompanies a DVD. Many bands release a shorter EP containing b-side recordings from the album. Others release it as an exclusive set of never heard before songs or versions of existing songs. There lots of interesting options when working with the EP format.

The "churchiness" in her & her voice ain't goin NO WHERE! no matter what kind of album she does...you can ALWAYS hear it & that's what I love so much about her! She's just anointed! It's all over! &btw she looked beautiful in the pics! LoL! always though.

i could still hear that "churchiness" in her voice...and of course, that's something that will never go away because #1:she grew up on a certain sound of gospel, and #2 but most importantly: she's a very anointed preacher...

I truly love everything Dorinda sings. I prefer to hear her sing live and more traditional gospel music. I want to say that I will but this one it comes out and I also want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY DORINDA!
