  • Conspiracy? Conspiracy? What are you talking about? Avid promised "many more plugins" (than the 3 they described at launch) with their >$9000 HDX systems. When they delivered them, they only provided 4 or 5 plugins!! All of us who bought HDX are now the proud owners of hugely expensive boat anchors!! And here sits Avid talking about how much they care about their customers having AAX plugins! Nobody said anything about a conspiracy pal, they're frickin' LIARS!! (try to keep up...)

  • @Starlite4321 so your quote 'the interviewer totally avoided the subject...' isn't you suggesting I somehow did not ask the question. I think you should learn to keep up, or mean what you say.

  • Russ, I just wanted to say that I think you are one of the best interviewers I have ever seen for NAMM. Not only in this video, but with UA, Slate Digital, Gobbler and etc. You know the right things to ask which must be refreshing for the developers and you know how to try to get a little more info than perhaps they might want to give. :-) Keep up the great work!

  • ONE plugin to rule them allllllll!!!!

  • What does you not asking the question have to do with a conspiracy? Who said conspiracy, you or me? You simply, blatantly, ignored the most basic element of this topic - that Avid is taking HUGE money for a product - HDX - that is essentially useless because they didn't port their own plugins to it as promised. That's not a conspiracy, its incompetence.

  • @Starlite4321 Yes of course, I'm on Avid's payroll and there's a huge conspiracy, just like the fact that man didn't land on the moon either.

  • I love how there is no tension and corporate schlock between Colin and Rod, instead just sincereness and pride in their respective company's products and abilities. Informative video.

  • Good video..
