EX EWS class 37's No's. 37417 'Richard Trevithick', 37411 / D6990 "Caerphilly Castle" and 37416 head for a new life with DRS up north having spent many years stored at Eastleigh. Class 67 No. 67008 provided the power as these locos havent worked for at least 4 years. The convoy is seen passing through Preston station on the 25/08/2011. It was working as the 6Z37 Eastleigh to Carlisle Kingmoor

  • do you know what happened to EWS No.37415, as I have the ViTrains model and would like to know what happened. thanks.

  • @TheCatapultTV Hi 37415 is owned by Harry Needle railroad co and is stored out of use at Barrow Hill. It has not been sold (like most ex EWS 37/4's) to DRS and is shown as set aside for further development. I have no idea what this may be. Hope this helps.

  • Nice shot. Let's hope DRS do them up and don't just strip them for spares.

  • @edsutton115 I think DRS do intend to return them to traffic. Thanks
