-
how do u pronounce 'kailey' in french?(:

No matter how hard I try I can't make out the difference between en-, ain-, in-, un-, an- sounds... To me, the ain in main sounds exactly like the en in pense.
Not knowing this is killing me!

Can you still call waiters garçon in France, when I called a waiter that in NYC an english friend who spent some time in Paris and France smacked me in and told me it was very rude to call someone that in France, is that true?
austenbosten 1 year ago
@austenbosten No it's not. It's totally acceptable to call a waiter garçon in France. It could be different in NY. But as long as you're not shouting garçon from the other end of the restaurant, you should be fine. You cam always raise your hand as well. :)

so I say Je pense a toi, Im thinking of you, but is not correct to say je suis pense a toi?where the ING in french go? is there ING in french?
carlosydavid92 2 years ago
@carlosydavid92 We use the same present tense (form) for I do and I am doing in French. Le participe présent ending ant replaces the ing in some cases. Usually it is after "while". Example: Je me suis fait mal en marchant. I hurt myself while walking.
