  • Two great stories and sooo funny

  • thank you!

  • Is it too terribly shameful that the "rest" joke cracked me up so much??

  • Yes, it is far too terribly shameful.

  • I'd also like to add that bathrooms can be scary! And the whole notion of "passing" bothers me in the first place -- does it mean I'm taking a test every time I go out in public??

  • Super funny, and totally rad. I especially liked the part where you were smoking AND biking up a huge hill. Totally bad ass.

  • i had the same kind of thing to the toilet issue in the first story...i was in a club and a bit drunk as well...two BIG men picked me up and took me to the womens...that was about 2 years ago now...lol...

  • I am subscribing to your channel for so many reasons. You are honest, funny as heck and share your experiences really well.

  • LMAO omg, love your manly-man impression and the restroom pun <3

  • I love your attitude. Great video and great stories <3

  • @enterprisingbones i know what you mean. once in vegas (before i transitioned, i'm a trans guy) a woman yelled at me and chased me away from the women's room. when i worked at a health club/community center, women would grab their kids when i'd walk in (w/ my employee badge and everything), give dirty looks, and make shitty comments. there was a point in which i couldn't go into EITHER bathroom in public cause i didn't feel safe or that people would let me be.

  • @misspollyy i wouldn't say that *anyone* who bends their gender even a little bit has had negative experiences trying to access restrooms. which is why the subject of passing privilege comes up. there was a time that i wasn't safe using either the men's or the women's restroom.

(i may pass now, but the fear has not diminished. i make mental notes about where to find gender neutral bathrooms. thankfully they are fairly common in my area these days)

  • sometimes i forget that not everyone (cis folks) don't have to worry every time they need to use a restroom. how NOVEL.

my family refuses to use the correct pronouns for me, which in public places makes me extra nervous.

i have been yelled at & even chased out of restrooms. people grab their children. seriously. it SUCKS. thanks for this post red. i got to see you perform in Oakland, and you are super rad. i hope to see you again sometime.

  • Love this! I think anyone who bends their gender even a lil bit has had to deal with the complexities of bathrooms. in the end I guess it's always a bit of a crapshoot. lol Thanks for sharing your experiences!

  • This just made my day. You are awesome!
