Okami [Pt. 31]

Ammy waits for a really long time outside of the Cutters' House until nighttime, when Ammy sneaks to the back and blows up a bit of Mr. and Mrs. Cutter's roof so she can get in. Ammy finds Mr. Cutter sleeping, and Mrs. Cutter sharpening her knife. Mrs. Cutter explains about how moonlight is a bit of a nuisance to her and her husband. Ammy drags Mrs. Cutter into the moonlight to reveal their true form, and have a brief fight. A basket is left behind, and in it is the Flower of Sasa Sanctuary Chun, Jamba's daughter. Ammy leads Chun back to her father, and as a reward Ammy and Issun are allowed to enter Sasa Sanctuary.

You're referring to Mr. Cutter? He comes along automatically when Mrs. Cutter is dragged into the light.

how long would it take to finish this game if im a beginner

It entirely depends on your playing style. Personally, it took me 2 days to finish Okami, but I wasn't really looking for hidden treasure chests, etc., and I've played it 5+ times. If you like to explore every little niche, then the game will of course take longer to complete. In addition, it depends on how often you play :3

I see you have beaten the game before. Im on Yami now and its my first time playing Okami.

Can you tell me what happens after defeat Yami and save the game? Do you start all over again? Do you still have all your weapons? Your yen? Praise? etc.

@acrobatsutr When you save after you beat the game, a new save file is created, and it starts over--from the very beginning. This is a new game+ file. You keep most of your weapons (all except 5th tier [S. Flare, etc]) and items. Yen included, praise included.

On my main computer I have a list of all the things you can keep, but unfortunately I can't access that right now due to viruses. However, if you do some digging in Google or Bing or whichever you choose, the list should appear somewhere.

If you are having troubles with this (only Mrs Cutter is there) you need to do more storyline first.

Leave the cutter home for now and head to the south part of the map to Kusa village. Begin the dog finding quest and eventually you will have to return to the cutters.
