It cost me about 8K for my initial training 9 years ago. I would be safe for you to count on 10K. I believe, though not 100 percent sure the going rental rate is 125 per hour including instructor. Just a WAG though.
I HIGHLY recommend Madison Flyers as that is where I did all my VFR and IFR training at. I did the ground school training through them as well in which I highly recommend as well. PM me if you want to putz around the pattern one day!

Just look up your flight on skyvector. WOW you have a lot of towers around your airport/Jackson!! Lol pretty much the only things above sea level around you though. (ha, remember I live in NorCal. ) But so glad u put a new video up! Your the only constaint flow of good aviation videos I can find.
