It's about time they got in!! I have been a Ventures fan for 28 years, and have over 100 of thier albums. I had tears in my eyes while watching this!!

Superb stuff - could I ask if a Ventures fan could tell me the names of some of the tracks played near the start. In particular the one at about 1 min 33 secs - what a great sound. Also 40 secs, 54 sec, 1.19 and 1.54 if possible. Thanks.

well, JCF used to diss on "surf music" and stratocasters big time. see his guitar mag interview in 85. He changes his tune every day of the week on Creedence but has never had a hit as big as in CCR days. Coz he fails to forgive himself and his buddies for mistakes. His and theirs.
John please do as you say, be happy and give CCR one more shot. Remember what your Mom said. Care for the people.

Long life to the Ventures they shoulda have been inducted every years to that rock hall of fame my opinion always had great cover and original songs and all the best guitar player like Nokie Edwards Gerry McGee Bob Spalding Bob Bogle Don wilson and of course Leon and Mel Taylor on drums I forget few but well they're my heroes!!!! I give em 1000x of stars
