I was about to clear out my dusty attic as I came across this old video tapes. Channel 5 was founded in Hamburg/ Germany in the mid- eigthies. After their 3rd album they already split, although they were quite successful, especially in the north of Germany.

"Laura" was released on their second studio album PAINTED NIGHTS. It´s the story of a camera (made in Japan) which is in love with its female photographer.

The PAINTED NIGHTS Album was recorded at "The Studio", Zerkall from January to October 1986.
The sound engineer was Walter Quintus. Moreover he was co-writing the album track "Painted Nights" as well as many over songs of the "Painted Nights" album

I am going to upload kind of like 30 clips of Channel 5, including interviews & songs as "Isn´t It You", "No one else" & "Take a trip". It will take some time so keep checking for updates.
