UN accuse LTTE of trapping civilians in war zone in Sri Lanka

UN, UNICEF & Red Cross accuses LTTE of trapping & shooting civilians trying to leave war zone. And recruiting child soldiers.

Hunderds of tamil civilians have been trying to leave the clutches of the LTTE and move into safer government controlled areas. But have been shot at and forcefully kept by the LTTE inorder to use them as a human shield. UN workers are amoungst the people trapped by the LTTE.
As the number of LTTE fighters decrease they are forcefully recruiting child soldier to fight in the front lines. One UN worker has been taken by the LTTE and been forced to fight.
Recently a LTTE female suicide bomber mixed within the civilians in a IDP camp blew her self up killing many civilians & children that have fled the conflict areas and the military personell that are attending to their needs.

The government hospitals are continuing to said food and medical supplies to conflict area both under the control of the government and the LTTE. Wounded civilians have been attended to in government hospitals.
