$100? Most of the newer phones have google maps (iPhone g1 etc.). Why blow $100 on geocaching when you can pull out your phone

@Rmazer555 haha I spent a lot more than that on my GPS units and have a htc google phone with the application. The handheld GPSs are much more advanced for this sport. As soon as the phone applications are suitable, and user friendly, I'll be relying on them more.
Until then, I'll stick to my Delorme.

The GPSr unit is often more rugged than a phone, and what if you loose your beloved phone in a stream while hunting....
I have used a phone for almost all my caching, but I still would like to get myself a descent GPSr for the geocachein, and the Garmin Dakota 20 appeals to me ;)

We consume oil because It's much too expensive to mount solar wafers on our cars, (Then we'd we stealing natures silicone) or build hydrogen motors on a small scale, or any other break in technology that lays off Oil consumption. We have no choice. Do you drive a bike everywhere you go? Without oil, you wouldn't have the tires, reflectors or paint. for your bike. They all have materials in them which come from refined crude oil.
If your shoes have rubber soles, then your also using oil.
