Janet's car was the original one she drove in Psycho. And there's a small "cameo" of Bernard Herrmann's score too!

I remember watching Psyco when I was about 15 first horror movie I ever saw I laughed when I saw the car and heard the famous music (btw I'm not 40 I watched it in 2000)

I noticed this in theaters when it was first out.
But my friends didn't believe me, told me I was lying. They had never seen Psycho.

just watched this movie last night again for the 100th time, OMG...i cant beleive i just noticed the car,....i always knew it was Jamies mother but holy crap it the SAME car used in Phyco, YES even right down to the plates,....way too cool

WOW! This is funny and yet nostalgic how two women who are related to each other were hounded by psychopathic killers.

TOTALLY lost on the generation for which the movie was intended, but a delight for us film buffs who enjoyed Janet Leigh's reprise of her Psycho (1960) character...right down to the '57 Ford :)
