SeekDroid For Android!

I recommend this app! I truly do! Unlike "other" apps, you don't have to pay a monthly or yearly subscription! This one is 5 bucks (at this time) and VERY much worth it!

You get to wipe your phone AND/OR sdcard from the computer.
If you didn't set an unlock code (or pattern), you can set one from the seekdroid website!
You can see the incoming and outgoing calls. Along with that, it shows you the health of your battery in a percentage.
And many many more. One day I will redo this video when I get a better camera, computer, and editing equipment.

It is only working when wifi is turned on. If I enable mobile data my phone connects to internet immediatly and I'll pay. It should work without internet.

@sergiii well that sucks... i couldn't imagine not having mobile data... my buddy had verizon and for the longest he didn't have the data package on a smart phone because of the cost.... so i would just turn my phone into a hotspot! lol

@sergiii my problem exactly. even more when you're in a foreign country in roaming, and you pay 2 eur per mb of data which is really not difficult to achieve.

Mobile data is very expensive in Portugal, thats why I don't have it

@end3rkid i have no clue... if you're crazy smart, it might be possible. but I turn my gps off... since if someone steals your phone or if someone terrible happens (like your kid had your phone, and your kid has been kidnapped) there is no way of tracking that phone unless someone physically dials 911 from it, which activates the handsets gps... otherwise you have to use cell towers to locate the person, which is NOT accurate and can be a HUGE area... so i just leave GPS on to be safe! :-)

@wwjoshdew I0m running CM7.1, which has 2.3.7 on it, so maybe will not work for me after all :(. I hope don't mind you to tell me why it can't be done on 2.3.4 or higher versions of gingerbread. I was thinking about just sending to the service of SeekDroid a command to turn on the GPS (since the phone is rooted, the program should not have problem dealing whit that I suppose), or what I'm saying is not doable?

@end3rkid it can if you're running 2.3.3 or lower, there is a CHANCE that it still can, but it's not promised! i just keep mine on. because my job involves helping people recover lost phones, & if the gps fails, the first thing I ask them is if they turned gps off. If they did, it's my responsibility to inform the customer that the phone can NO LONGER be located, because the USER decided to disable gps, making it only possible for 911 to locate you...

@wwjoshdew Well, that's a nice feature, but another one that I'm looking for is that if the GPS can be turned on demand if is off.
