the leather will patina, and its all hand made stitching....Date code is on the tag, not a serial....

LOUIS VUITTON does not verify over the phone. Date codes can not be used to verify authenticity because fake ones have them too. Older model LV speedy bags did not used to be upside down on one side, the old ones were upright on both sides. LV Replica bags are better than explained in this video, with most replicas, you may have to take them to Louis Vuitton to authenticate because they are near perfect.

Isn't the serial numbur..is the data code to indicate the period the bag was made..and you can't call lv boutique for this!

Also...great video, but I'll add to your product (I have 3 LV Messenger bags-authentic ones) but I also have good knock offs ;) On the monogram canvas bags, the BEST way to tell, and it does take a GOOD EYE, is look at the shape of the STAR on the pattern-and color. Real LV's stars are a golden color and the tip has a very distinct point, whereas on a lot of fakes, the shars are shaped round or funny. Hard to explain, take a look at a real LV and a fake one...you'll see!
