On April 9, Rep. Bachmann will be hosting two forums, one in St. Cloud and the other in Woodbury, to discuss President Obama's proposed cap-and-trade policies. Chris Horner from the Competitive Enterprise Institute will give a presentation on what this policy means to you and your family, and how it will financially impact every American - regardless of income.

  • i feel ya but i feel that there is just way to much corruption and leis from both party's. i am not a republican nor a democrat what so ever. The country is under that stranglehold on the federal reserve system and many of it's many societies that it founds. This country is being taken down from the Illuminati, all done by design. The false flags operations to fool people in believing they are getting attacked and start wars. That in my view is divide and conquer. The voting system is broke.

  • Ron Paul and the others should get back on board and help the Republicans build back the true conservative party. When they split the ticket, they did a disservice to the country and that's how we lost. Bachmann will not split. She'll stay and do the hard work of rebuilding the Reagan conservatives. There hasn't been a 3rd party who has won since the beginning of the republican party. Divide & conquer is what Obama wants and I refuse to play that game.

  • Am I the only one that realizes that cap-and-trade utilizes market principles to decrease pollution? I thought republicans liked market principles...

  • I agree. The thought of taxing carbon is the stupidest thing that I have ever heard of.

  • who are the ones supporting the tax cheat not understanding that the very office he runs isnt even a legit branch of government ,, now I understand why so many call you folks kool aid drinkers. Try and stay consistent here liberals remember when bush was blowing money like a lib you hated it well now your boy is blowing money like a well hmmm like a lib and now you love it ? hmmmm must be hard to walk without a backbone

  • We must have watched different videos. The one I saw she was obviously asking a question she should have known. His answer was that Congress (where she works at) gave power which was power granted by the constitution. It was an absolutely stupid thing she said.

  • Oh no you are wrong. She was aware that congress granted them the authority and she stated that congress passes unconstitutional laws and guidelines all of the time. She wanted to know if he was following the constitution because all elected and appointed officials in our government are supposed to uphold the constitution above all, not congress or the president's wishes.

  • Yea, it was priceless. I want to say his answer flew over Bachman's head but actually it just wisped through her ears unimpeded. She wanted to know what part of the constitution..blah blah and didn't even realize it was congress that gives him the power. What a dolt. So yes, it was priceless just like all the other clueless things that spew out of her mouth.

  • WeAreChangeChicago supports you! i cant speak for all members, but i sure do. You should run with Ron Paul for Office. That would be sweet or at the least a part of the 2012 administration. Is she a Libertarian Conservative?

  • Michele Bachmann we hear your Conservative Voice here in Illinois. Your questioning of Geithner was priceless. I am very proud of you and will support you in any of your future political endeavors. Maybe Senate?
