Law Enforcement Demonstration

(Oct. 18, 2007) NAGOYA, Japan -- Boarding teams, from the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Boutwell and the Japan Coast Guard, demonstrate their boarding procedures aboard the Japanese Cutter Mizuho. The Boutwell is currently deployed as U.S. Coast Guard representatives in the North Pacific Coast Guard Forum (NPCGF). This forum was developed to combat illegal fishing and increase international maritime safety and security on the Northern Pacific Ocean and its borders. No they don't.... it's like saying the US Army train the British Army. Don't spread crap unless you actually know what you're talking about. They often hold military exercises, but that doesn't mean the USCG necessarily 'train' the Japanese Coast Guard. The Japanese Coast Guard in some respects are more highly enhanced/developed then the US Coast Guard, and in other areas, the US Coast Guard is more advanced then the Japanese.
