No, thats not what I'm implying at all, the UK has as much respect for Bruckner as any other country. However, at the Proms he did a program of purely contemporary music. Much of which was by currently less well known composers.

He was great at the proms, pitty the audience wasn't bigger, but then I guess thats life when you're playing lesser know music!
