New Moon Soundtrack Update: Death Cab For Cutie Music Video

The very first music video for New Moon is completed. We've got all of the info up next!

Hey everyone! You're at Clevver TV and your host Dana Ward with the latest on the New Moon soundtrack.

First off, the British Amazon.com released a preview for the New Moon soundtrack by putting 30-seconds of each song on its site. And then somehow some very lucky fans got ahold of the entire album's 15 songs, but they've been flying onto the internet super fast but have been taken down even faster. Did any of you get a listen? Let us know what you think about the new tracks!

Now as far as "official" release goes, Twilight fans finally got some substance when Death Cab for Cutie released their New Moon music video recently... and already there's been a ton of positive feedback. I gotta say though that not only had listeners been waiting for months, but even the band had not been given the go-ahead until just about a week before the release. Talk about a fast production. Death Cab for Cutie's 'Meet Me on the Equinox' is the premiere song for the New Moon soundtrack and accordingly, viewers get to see tons of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Plus, fans will recognize a ton of the scenes, all taken from various teaser trailers from the last few months, so we get to see Edward say goodbye to Bella, how she's left alone and then how she seeks out adrenaline rushes. Of course, there's the scene where Bella rushes to stop Edward from exposing himself in the sunlight.

The music video also follows the four band members as they rock out in a normal living room, and the scenes are sprinkled with cuts of the guys just existing in the space as the sunlight comes through the windows and casts shadows everywhere. It definitely matches up with the feel of the song and the storyline. Accordingly, the last of the lyrics say 'everything ends' as there's a close-up of Edward's foot in the motion to step into the sunlight.

I know that most of Team Edward is probably pretty darn happy that this vid is all about him and Bella... but what do you Team Jacob fans think? Do you still like it and you're just hoping for more wolves in an upcoming music video? Let me know your opinion in the comments section.
