Dsbatista you describe that well yet you question why a people would be reluctant to be chatacterized as a buch of dancing phallic wearing charicitures? These are among the few representations of Latin America at the time and this became how people saw Brazilian culture.  In fact, the highly sexed latino is still a stereotype that persist largely due to these images.
