I wish today's whipper snappers out there would take a moment to have a listen to, that which is real hip-hop..,not all this ridiculous he said/she said, did this/did that, non-sense! I'm from the old school like O Dog ..,Grant Hill#33Phoenix..,repp'in..,no bling of a ring to do my thing..,stay true to Purp/Orange since A. Gilliam..,

One of my all time favorites. Eric Sermon rhymin and Marvin singing. Don't get much better.

The marvin gaye sample flows so naturally with the song. It doesn't feel forced and out of place like the kanye jay otis sample

R.I.P to one of the Greatest to ever to sing into a mic

I give Sermon props for not butchering Marvin's music. The way he incorporates Marvin's voice into the song makes it seem Marvin is really singing with Marvin. "Without music, Owww I'll go cazy"!

You see this is one of the many things that I miss about older Hip-Hop artists and songs....
.....when an old school and/or legendary song/artist (Marvin Gaye for example) was sampled, IT DIDN'T FEEL RUINED, RIDICULOUS, REPULSIVE, OR NAUSEATING!!!

This was my jam!! Love that he included King Marvin in the video!

@husanishipp What's the worst that could happen
One fly tune, to have black and white vibe in one room... Simplest but truest verse in a Hip hop song. It's not about color. It's about the music and how it makes you feel.
