Poe is incredible. Even if you don't understand English, the very SOUND and rhythm of his poetry is mesmerizing. This poem and "The Bells" illustrate this beautifully. (Well done Vincent!)

Ah The Raven... This poem first got me into poetry when I was 16. I had taken English Literature in college and our tutor read us half of the poem...
Hearing simply that first half enticed me to go out and find the rest. Since, I have been a big fan of poetry, especially Poe.
But it also brought me on to hitherto unknown horror, such as HP Lovecraft who is now one of my all time favourite authors.
