You need to set your screen resolution to something like 1920x1080. You also need a powerful computer to have smooth frame rates. As far as the effects go. Some are in game some are post production.

Did a lot of your camera movements outside of the cockpit involved the use of TrackIR? or was it the crop and move feature from Vegas?

Thank you patriottexan. I render my movies in a .wmv format at 1280 x 720 resolution to get HD.
