Robert Morey Goes on 3 Month Honeymoon with a Guy Named Chip & Morey's Wife

It's "Memory Lane" time for Radio host Bob Morey as he mentions his 3 month honeymoon trip to 14 different countries during his church sermons. What is a little "different" about this "honeymoon" is that Morey takes a guy named "Chip" along for the entire 3 months!! We do give Morey credit for at least remembering that he did take his wife along also (hear second sermon audio clip)! When listening to "dr Bob" you can always count on something a little "different" during his Sunday morning sermons. Morey is a man who knows how to stay focused on the matters at hand. Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin who was a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." Could it possibly be that the reason the Muslim University "revoked" Dr. Morey's certificate is because Dr. Morey uses the knowledge he learned from it to refute Islam? Is it possible?

"John0318" you seem to be in a mental stupor. Why would Morey get an "Islamic Degree" from a Muslim University if he is not a Muslim? Get your facts straight & watch the video again, the school was Christian & they said Morey earned nothing. Check out MOREYLINKS & "The Saint Augustinian" on the internet for all the documentation concerning Morey's "mail fraud" etc. Why doesn't Morey sue us, this video & accompanying blogs have been up for over a year? The guy uses religion to make money.

@Dunnization: They want to create an image of God that is so evil that people will more easily turn away from Him in disgust, but they are lying about God and think "hyper" Calvinism is a good vehicle for it. It is, because so many people in the past acquired their hatred for God being made to sit in Calvinist churches when they were young. This God they are promoting is not our God; this is not our Jesus. According to John 3:16, God does love everybody and wants all to be saved.

This man is not a child of God; he is a "grievous wolf." Why point that out? Well, he is telling people that God doesn't love everyone. John 3:16 says otherwise. Who speaks for God, John 3:16 (Jesus's words) or Robert Morey. Watch out for this bunch of grievous wolves who really want everyone to hate God and live it up and do a lot of collateral damage on the way.

I am slowly trying to make sense of all this. I have heard a lot of good valid teaching from Morey, and wondering why he would behave in this fashion. I know that he exaggerates on purpose to make a point but these don't seem to be these sorts of exaggerations, obviously. Falsely accusing people should not be in the repertoire of any Christian teacher.
