Going back to classic defenders like Norio Takashima, they attacked weak returns, but now the defenders are looking to attack-at least on their own serves.

Even modern defenders attack today, no way around it. If you can end the point quickly, do it!

Koji is one of the best defensive players ever. He is my favorite "pure" defensive idol.

Koji was the greatest ever.. he was even better than Joo.. I hope, that there come new choppers like Koji, Chen or Joo :)
