Death sentence in India is a rare decree and Ajmal Kasabs sentence is obviously meant to symbolize Indias no-tolerance attitude toward cross-border terrorism. Terrorism is not pardonable in the least in any nation including Pakistan and, therefore, Kasabs execution cannot be called a political or unfair decision. But will Kasabs execution put an end to cross-border terrorism is the big question that has not been addressed yet. Will the terrorist network stop operating across borders? Perhaps not. However, it will be a harder blow to organized terrorism if India makes public all records of Kasabs investigation, highlighting the actual identities of all those involved in cross-border terrorism. Executing an individual is not the ultimate solution, tearing the veil off the faces of criminals will be the real service to humanity in all nations.
No nee of execution. We should leave him in Pakistan.
