I never understood the fascination with this guy.

Absolutely in love with Rick's tone here

I agree, Rick is great. I would like to please you to listen to the DVD
" 1977 Rockpalast Roger MC Guinn's Thunderbyrd". (Now available)
Rick there was playing the Lead Guitar. I tell you he was great. They played west coast rock and several byrds songs in a way I never heard befor since then.

Gary Moore: take some lessons from Rick V. should you still want to play Peter Green songs.
Lesson one: get rid of the distortion.
Lesson two: get a load of playing with dynamics.
Lesson three: don't listen to my guitar playing, it's even worse.

Rick stopped to try my guitar company’s product (ChordBender). I usually put people in earphones since guitar shows are so noisy. I quickly put Rick through the amp though since I wanted people to hear what was happening – right away. Nice guy; I got a great picture of him smiling. Great player. Green / Mac played this for 3 hours at a show so once the groove gets going a great band can really blast off on this Peter Green tune sold to Santana.

Too bad Rick Vito is NOT a good singer. These songs demand as much feeling and respect as he gives his guitar playing. Even Fleetwood has got tempo issues.....Kinda of a snooze-fest.

Rick V's been one of the best since almost as far back as Peter G. What kind of guitar is he using here?
