Saw the Iron City Houserockers for the first time in January 1980 in Clarion. Saw them 2 more times in Clarion and then at Champaign Illinois (I believe at Mabel's) when I was in grad school. Great Great Band!
One of the sickest songs ever. I'm 26 and this song came out before I was born, but I happened to read about them in a old Rolling Stone and lucked out.
the only good album....lp...finland...jc = gooooood !! missa vitussa on taa sama ennen punkkia ollu asenne.. vittumullaoli ford458..mut nyt o gm440 bu gs ....silti ich ei o saksaa...vaan rock
Saw the Houserockers at IUP from '82-87. Also saw Norm Nardini & The Tigers, The Silencers and Donnie Iris & The Cruisers. Love 80s Pittsburgh rock! Go Black & Gold!!
YOUTUBE never fails to amaze me! I remember buying a promo single for "Hideaway" and being hooked on the band's music. I believe this particular song (and possibly the entire album) was produced by Miami "Little" Steven Van Zant (Bruce Springsteen and Southside Johnny). Thanks for posting this!
