I got my own record player when I was 10 years old (in 1986). I bought "Have a good time but get out alive" and "Love's so tough" for a buck each and blasted both of those albums. I was a 10 year old with a Mullet blasting "Iron City Houserockers" much to the chagrin of Brian Adams and Billy Joel loving mother-figures
Saw the Iron City Houserockers for the first time in January 1980 in Clarion. Saw them 2 more times in Clarion and then at Champaign Illinois (I believe at Mabel's) when I was in grad school. Great Great Band!
One of the sickest songs ever. I'm 26 and this song came out before I was born, but I happened to read about them in a old Rolling Stone and lucked out.
